The debut of the new single from Atlantic's Pieces of You was here online, Sep 9th. It's actually a remix and re-release of "You Were Meant For Me" which was released and quietly pulled in 1995. The new video is in light rotation to replace last year's seldom seen Sean Penn directed effort.

"Hard wood grows slowly:" Jewel's debut Pieces of You went platinum in August in recorded sales. It went gold just this past May after being released February 28th, 1995.
The latest word on new music from Jewel is that the album is being pushed back to March of 1997. Atlantic was planning to release another single from Pieces of You, "Foolish Games."
The new release has several possible titles:
"Pink Fleshy Heart"
"Absence of Fear"
"Goldfish Don't Bounce"
